For your information, the island  of Tioman was announced as a marine park and you should take note of this fact. Therefore, fishing is allowed only if at least 25 km from the coast. Deep-sea fishing trips is a favorite for fishing enthusiasts. They are willing to  go to these voyages of ships chartered by the people of the island of Tioman.


However, local people loves to fish at the jetty for fun. During squid season, lots of local people going out to the jetty in every villages looking for squids. Their favourite jetty are Marina Jetty and TNB (Tenaga Nasional Berhad) Jetty nearby Kampung Tekek.
